Ideally within the first week after birth if you are experiencing pain, difficulty latching, concerns about milk supply, or just want guidance getting started. We also offer prenatal consultations to prepare you before baby arrives.
We assess baby latch and oral anatomy, evaluate feeding patterns, address any pain or supply concerns, create a personalized feeding plan, and follow up via text/email. In-home visits last 60-90 minutes; virtual visits are also available.
Breastfeeding support may be covered under HSA/FSA benefits. We can help you check your specific plan coverage before your visit.
Absolutely. We help you choose the right pump, build a milk stash, create a pumping schedule that works with your job, and teach proper storage/handling techniques. We also support combination feeding (breast + bottle) strategies.
We never judge - fed is best. If breastfeeding is not working despite our best efforts, we will help you transition to formula or combination feeding with compassion and without guilt. Your mental health matters too.
